Join us for a complimentary online Yoga Nidra experience honouring International Day of Yoga and the Winter Solstice.

International Day of Yoga is recognised globally as an invitation to support wellbeing, balance, and conscious living through the timeless practices of yoga and meditation.

Here in Australia, this gathering also coincides with the Winter Solstice, a natural seasonal turning point associated with reflection, stillness, and renewal. Together, these themes create a meaningful opportunity to pause, restore, and reconnect with presence.

In a world of constant movement, stimulation, and mental overload, moments of genuine stillness have become increasingly rare. This guided Yoga Nidra session offers an opportunity to pause, rest deeply, and reconnect with calm presence.

Yoga Nidra, often described as “yogic sleep”, is a guided meditative relaxation practice that supports deep relaxation while maintaining gentle awareness. It is increasingly explored within wellbeing, education, and healthcare settings as a supportive practice for relaxation, emotional balance, mental clarity, and restorative rest.

This session welcomes participants from all backgrounds and levels of experience. No prior yoga or meditation experience is required.

Whether you are a healthcare professional, educator, student, parent, business owner, or simply seeking a quiet space to reset and restore, you are warmly welcome.

Session Theme
Inner Stillness and Presence

Your Sankalpa

During the practice, you will connect with the intention:

“I am anchored in stillness. I am present in this moment.”

This is not something to force. Simply something to allow.

A Shared Global Moment

On this day, people around the world will pause to connect through yoga. This session is an opportunity to be part of that collective intention. Not through effort, but through stillness.

An Invitation

You are welcome to join, wherever you are. Come as you are. Allow yourself this pause.

Important Notes

  • This is a live guided session designed for deeper experience
  • Please join from a quiet, uninterrupted space
  • Limited spots available

Preparing for yoga Nidra

  1. Prepare blankets, yoga mat, or another comfortable surface to sit or lie on. For Yoga Nidra to be successful, you must be comfortable.
  2. Prefer to use loose clothing so you are comfortable.
  3. Make the room as quiet as you can. Make arrangements so that you are not disturbed during the time of yoga nidra. Your phone away from you or in aeroplane mode will be good, so you are not disturbed during a deep meditative state.
  4. Lie flat on your back with arms stretched out by your sides (preferred way of doing but can be done in any comfortable position if that is not possible) You’ve the option of sitting comfortably or lying down. We will assume you are lying down but adjust your position to sitting comfortably, with back straight e.g. when doing in an office environment.
  5. Start listening and follow the instructions.
